This is identified as "Centennial" in our records, but that does not seem right. Men are wearing summer straw boaters, and the offices in the Park Building (shown) correspond with about 1919. Se we think it is July 4th in Fitchburg, soon after the end of World War I. Now that's a city that knows how to deploy its bunting!
One of our members received their member newsletter and the pages were all messed up, with a couple of pages missing and some duplicated. My copy arrived out of order, but otherwise okay. We think that it was a machine error in folding to prepare for mailing. If your copy did not arrive in good shape, please let us know, so we can send you a good replacement!
